John D. Balian grew up in Eastern Turkey facing unimaginable tragedy and a life of destitution. Despite difficult odds, he reached the U.S. and the "American Dream," attended Columbia University on a full scholarship, and received his MD from Tufts University School of Medicine. John's first book, Gray Wolves and White Doves, is a thriller based on events from his own struggle and highlights the political and social upheaval of the Middle East.
Our June 24th meeting will be the last larger gathering before summer break (although the smaller critique group will continue each Saturday through the summer). Celebrating an amazing year as the NY/NJ chapter of ACFW, we will end our time together with a potluck lunch. Please bring something to share.
Meeting will be held at Grace Bible Chapel, 100 Oakdale Road, Chester, NJ 07930 from 10am-12pm with lunch following. Hope to see you there!!!
