Pitching to An Agent or Editor (Part One)

Even if you don't have a finished manuscript but one day hope to be published, learning how to present your work to an agent or editor is a vital process in the journey. Conferences provide a wonderful opportunity to meet and speak with professionals in the field, and several are offered this summer. How do we prepare for those? Or for anyone interested in our story? For the next couple of chapter meetings, we will focus on developing a repertoire of valuable tools to spark interest in our story when meeting with agents/editors.

March 4th will focus on developing our One Sheet (or visual pitch) and our Back Cover Blurb (that paragraph that conveys the sudden urge in our reader to BUY the book!). This will be workshop style, so come prepared with thoughts and ideas to create your own. See you then!
